Born in São Paulo, Brasil, Edu Andrade always painted since he was a kid. In 1999/2000 he started his "Revolback" project, influenced by street and grafitti art, skate and hardcore music culture. His work also has a big approach with contemporary artists like Shepard Fairey, Barry MacGee, Robert Rauchenberg and many others.

He works as a assistant producer, assistant art director and cameraman for different film production companies in Brasil, such as Toro and Trattoria. The exhibitions of his work in São Paulo took place at hardcore shows and night clubs like Funhouse. He also sings in a band called Questions.

Where do you now live?: São Paulo

Where would you most like to live?: I like my country,but I would like live for a while in NYC, because there has many streets art and galeries to visit.

Who was your first "hero" in life?: My Dad was. who died when I was 13 years old.

What is your favorite thing to do on your day off from work?: Paint (here in Brazil I paint only for hobby) listen music, see a lots of street's art in webs and play with my hardcore band.

What is your favorite color?: Black

Who (or what) do you love?: My girlfriend, family and friendship

Who and/or what are some of your influences?
Sao Paulo's street's art, obey giant(the great Sheppard) Barry Mac'gee

What other artists do you most admire?
Jean Michael Basquiat and Sheppard Farey.

How would you describe your art to someone who could not see it?
Third World Art.

What other talent would most like to have?
Play guitar well and improve my paint.

What do you fear the most?
Ignorance Imperialist and Terrorism.

What is your greatest ambition?
Exibition my work in cities such: Madri, Berlin, New York...and play with my band in Europe.
